Fake Friendship

 In shadows cast by deceit's embrace,

A friendship weaves its web, laced with grace.

Words spoken sweetly, like honeyed wine,

Yet empty promises, twisted and malign.

A facade of connection, shallow and hollow,

A fake friendship, a mirage in the sand,

Where trust crumbles, like castles unplanned.

Betrayal's dagger, sharp and unkind,

Pierces the heart, leaving scars behind.


But fear not, dear soul, for truth shall prevail,

Real friendships emerge, like a gentle gale.

With bonds built on honesty, deep and true,

In authenticity's embrace, we'll find what's due.


So cast aside the masks, let pretense cease,

Embrace the genuine, find friendships that bring peace.
